IM Iron Manual
Iron Man: Iron Manual - Vol. 1
This is the first volume. It was revolutionary for its time in 1993 where we got a view of the armor in realistic terms. How it is made. How it works. What is it made of. How did it get manufactured. These and maybe the first accounting of the Model and Marks of the various armors.
Iron Manual Summary
This is the second volume in 2008. It took the turn of an Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, an Iron Man edition having entries on business people, women, friends of Tony Stark, Artificial Intelligences, businesses, and Villains. It also reprinted a page of the original manual that had the armor specs as well as adding a new page on the latest armor in the Iron Man entry. It had a more comprehensive listing of the armors with comic accurate pictures of the armor. One of the faults of the numbering in this edition that is often quoted is that it lists the Hydro Armor, Stealth Armor, and then the Silver Centurion Armor. This was not the correct order of these armors.

This is the correct order from the comics.
The first Space Armor was seen in IM vol. 1 #142; the Stealth Armor was first seen in #152; the Silver Centurion Armor was first seen in #200; Hydro Armor was first seen in #218; The Mark II Stealth Armor was first seen in #229.
This was a reprint of the first manual and the second manual. Plus, it added shots from the Iron Man movie that was getting ready to come out that year, 2008. It did not correct the order of the armors but it did add the correct issues of the armors showing that they were presented out of order.
This came out in 2010 and was only an entry based comic. It did not have any armor specs. It did add many more entries and updated a few. It added more from a Marvel Universe wide perspective.
