Bushwacker
Real Name: Unknown, but his wife called him "Wacker." Cute, eh?
First Appearance: Daredevil 249
What's His Problem? Originally a priest (?) turned CIA agent turned killer-for-hire (?!), Bushwacker has often been hired to kill people, something he enjoys a little bit more than is really healthy. Due to a nasty scarring at the hands of Daredevil, Bushwacker has it in for the Scarlet Swashbuckler.
Abilities: Bushwacker is a trained killer, and is skilled in unarmed combat. He is very paranoid and has a strong tolerance for pain. He can also quote the Bible at the most inopportune times.
Weapons: Bushwacker's arm has been altered into a malleable gun. He can turn his finger into a pistol and his whole arm into a machine gun. Exactly how he reloads is something of a question...
Favorite Quote: "Hey! You're still breathing!" (To would-be victim Ben Urich. Bushwacker demonstrates his grasp of the obvious in Daredevil Annual 4.)
Heroes He Keeps Running Into: Bushwacker has mainly tried to whack DareDevil, but has found the time to hassle Wolverine. Bushwacker was also hired to take out the Punisher, something he found ironic since both he and Frank Castle were once priests!
People Who Think He's Not So Bad: The CIA found uses for Bushwacker before he went rogue. He also was recruited by Typhoid Mary into a "Daredevil Revenge Squad" with fellow DD-baddies Bullet, Ammo and the Wild Boys.
Most Despicable Act: Considering Bushwacker often guns for helpless victims, it's hard to say what his worst act is. His most interesting act, story-wise, was letting target Ben Urich live when he found out Urich was trying to run an expose' on a drug lord. Bushwacker, amused that Urich was trying to use "the system" to find justice, gave him a chance to run his story. When the drug lord bribed his way out of jail, Bushwacker killed him to prove a point about "the system" to Urich. Marvel just doesn't have good villain stories like that anymore.
