TOS #95 "If a Man Be Stone!"

Tony Stark drives up to the Long Island factory of Stark Industries. There are a lot of Stark security. He asks what is going on. An intruder got past the guards and is wondering around top secret equipment. Tony and the guards rush inside. They find a man sitting advising Stark to improve his security training. Jasper Sitwell introduces himself as a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., one of Nick Fury's men. He was sent on assignment. Tony sends his guards away as they talk. Nick Fury sent an agent to be stationed at the factory to protect their investment in the materials produced for S.H.I.E.L.D. Meanwhile the Grey Gargoyle escapes from prison. The Grey Gargoyle, Paul Duval reads about Stark's new Cobalt weapon. He seeks it to then be able to have the power to take Thor's enchanted hammer, seeking immortality. He gets over the wall and touches the Stark security guards turning them to stone for 1 hour. Tony gets a notification of an alarm. Jasper heads to find out who it is. Tony slips away. The Grey Gargoyle breaks through the steel doors, and Iron Man appears. Jasper tries the gas pen again but of no use on the Grey Gargoyle. Iron Man uses his repulsor rays to knock him back. As Iron Man brushes against him, parts begin to harden into stone. Jasper escapes to call for help. Gargoyle grabs Iron Man and turns him completely to stone then takes him to the roof to through him off and destroy Iron Man once and for all.
