An SI (Stark Industries) helicopter lands downtown in Manhattan at a hospital - code 719 - Avengers Emergency. Rhodey lands perfectly and Tony goes to check on Ling. He asks Bethany Cabe if she is alright. Ling McPherson was beaten guarding Harmon Taylor. But she whispered the Bethany was the real target. The doctor came out and says she is stable and cannot do more. Tony walks Beth out. Rhodey is getting a ticket. Tony sends Beth with Rhodey so she can get some rest. She talks Rhodey into taking her to Ling's apartment and find Tony there and they join forces. Rhodey kicks in the door and they find Harmon Taylor. They find in a closet another Harmon Taylor bound and unconscious. The first Harmon is actually Spymaster who attacks with gas. When Tony and Rhodey awake, Beth and Tony's briefcase are gone. Tony finds a check and it was from Williams Innovations which is now under the control of the Maggia. Madame Masque with 2 Dreadknoughts pays Spymaster for his completed job. Tony and Rhodey stop a telephone repair man and rent his van and uniform for $1000/hour. They sneak in with the pretense of fixing the phones. They knock out two guys and security it coming. The stumble upon more guys and get into a fire fight with guns. Rhodey causes a distraction while Tony finds Bethany and his armor. He starts to put it on when Madame Masque and 2 Dreadnoughts catch him. To be continued next issue.
