IRON MAN vol. 4 #13
(Dec. 2006) "Civil War." Cover art: Adi Granov. Script: Daniel & Charles Knauf. Art: Patrick Zircher/Scott Hanna. A "Civil War" tie-in. Gratuitous action at issue's beginning with a collection of superheroes battling, of all things, a Dreadnought. Doc Samson, Spider-Man and She-Hulk lend Iron Man a hand until Shellhead shreds the rogue robotic villain with a special uni-beam zap. Stark later has a rather blunt meeting with the Secretary of Defense regarding the Superhuman Registration Act, and another one later on at the home of Sal Kennedy with Sal and Maya. In other words, 'ol Stark is torn about his choice of side in the "Civil War" (which is natural) but he still muses more positively on the "pro" registration side. Supposed "peace activist" Karim Mahwash Najeeb looks like he's a crooked SOB and he, in consultation with some unknown associate, decide to dispatch Spymaster against Stark. Unfortunately for SM, Happy Hogan gets in his way, and reminiscent of issue #210 actually thwarts his covert action! What the hell is going on, yo?
Hube's Recommendation: 2 1/2 repulsors!
