Issue 1 - We start with a statement that getting tech is done for the wrong reasons. On a Monday, outside a restaurant a girl is playing a violin. She is asked to stop. Soon Iron Man crashes through the window fighting a villain, Terrax. At the same time, Tony is withdrawing from Stark Unlimited with stocks cashed out at 65 billion. B.O.S.S. is the A.I. that Tony is talking to. Iron Man is taking Terrax into space and blasts him. Terrax smashes a Com TV network satelite. Terrax leaves the solar system and all is safe. Tony gets sued for the destruction of the satelite. Tuesday - Tony is moving away from tech because he think the machines should build the machines. Tony is getting out, selling his estate. Tony goes on a road trip with Glory Grant from the Daily Bugle. A blow out of the rear tire ends the trip. Tony gets an old school car, 1978 Dodge Aspen. Tony buys a brownstone on the lower east side of New York. Janet Van Dyne breaks up with Tony. Tony goes to race his car for 5 grand. Tony loses his money. He then has a party at his apartment. Corporate types keep trying to hire Tony to look at their things/problems. He sees Patsy Walker. She thinks Tony is confused. Tony wants to show her something when Fuller Tielhard stops him and pitches him capturing a lightning strike and use the energy. Tony and Patsy go to the garage. He shows her is latest Iron Man suit. He invites her to go as Hellcat with him through the city. An EMP will go off shortly frying his guests digital devices. As they talk, Tony sees a helicopter on the library. It's the Unicorn. He says he serves the Other. The Unicorn blasts them both and IM brings down his copter. He stole a Gutenberg Bible. They stop him but Iron Man is struck by lightning, destroying the rare Bible. We end with a picture of Fuller staring off into space. 
Issue 2 - We open with Fuller Tielhard removing cables from his eyes and talking to the Enclave scientist. He reveals himself to be Korvac. He talks about humanity wasting its potential and believes he can change the future. The Enclave scientist is talking down to Korvac as a intelligent machine. Korvac grabs the scientist by the throat and says many claim to be gods in this world, but that it is a Godless world and lost. We see Absorbing Man sparring with Iron Man in a boxing ring for money. Carl absorbs the armor and power source. Tony gets thrown around and fights back. Tony gets blasted and the referee is counting. Tony unmasks Arcade. It's a draw. Tony is settling into his new life at the brownstone. He and Patsy Walker spend time together and she is trying to get Tony to do breathing exercises. But, Tony keeps focusing on the fight, and Patsy gets frustrated. She thinks Tony wanted to get captured and see himself get punished on live TV. Patsy asks who Tony is trying to prove that he's still a hero. Tony gets a call and several Stark pharmacy scientists were kidnapped by Cardiac. Tony is wondering who he is after dying. Cardiac threatens to kill the scientists and let them feel the misery of those who cannot afford the cost of treatment. Iron Man blasts Cardiac. The scientists are in a metal circular dome and are using up the oxygen. (IM says they have 21% oxygen, but that is actually the content of oxygen at room air). They are suffocating. IM blasts the dome and it is ineffective - made of vibranium, adamantium, and iron. Cardiac says they have to die because the healthcare system is a crime. Hellcat kicks him in the back. IM backs up to 567 yards and calculates that if he flies into the dome it will open, but it will also cause Tony several fractures and injuries. He breaks through, has 17 bone fractures and punctures a lung, and has an irregular heart beat. Cardiac is arrested but gives a statement to the press. Tony is in the hospital. He is uninsurable so has to pay out of pocket. Ironically, Hellcat asks about Tony's privilege and having a god complex. The Unicorn tries to escape. Hellcat runs after him. He knocks her down, claiming God is calling him.
Issue 3 - We open with Unicorn in Canaan, Oklahoma running in the rain saying he's here. He is struck by lightning. Back in NY, Iron Man is flying asking what the city wants from him, a godlike savior or a way to lead them to salvation. Iron Man fights various villains. He asks if they want him to leave them alone. Are people too proud to be thankful. Is he still one of them. He flies and plays with some kids. The teachers come by and run Iron Man off, wanting something scheduled and not spontaneous. Wonders why he bothers. The Melter has melted his car, he punches the Melter. He flies him upward, then drops him and thinks a bit, then goes after him. He snaps back in a burger hut ordering and talking to himself. It is 3:45a. He flies commercial with Patsy in coach. They are talking and get on each others nerves. Patsy had come back from trying to kill herself in the past to knowing what is important. Tony is wrestling with the point of life. Patsy is not Tony's life coach but just a messed up friend. They go to Oklahoma, Fuller meets Iron Man there. Hellcat is at the hotel. Iron Man is in a field of 10,000 lightning rods, all copper. Suddenly, Iron Man gets hit by a massive bolt of lightning. Fuller takes off his glasses, as Korvac, with the Controller, Unicorn, and Blizzard. He plans to first become a demigod, then the power of a god. Hellcat drives a Jeep into them, getting to a downed Iron Man. Iron Man and Hellcat begin to fight back. The bad guys think Korvac is their God. Korvac blasts Iron Man and Hellcat. A straight line heart beat shows with one beat, then says defibrillation successful (Note: you only defibrillate. pulseless ventricular tachycardia or ventricular fibrillation never asystole or slow beats). He picks up an unconscious Hellcat. 
Issue 4 - We open with words being piped to Patsy's right ear, repeating sayings. Tony is answering questions about a missing James Rhodes and accusations that he doesn't care. Tony goes to Patsy to a room where they appear to be on the run from Korvac and Rhodey was taken as bait. Patsy has a fractal burn on her face and is upset. Korvac killed the Avengers in V1, 177 but brought them back. He was a cosmic entity then, now he is an android built or rebuilt by the Enclave. Patsy asks if Tony can do this alone or is doing it alone because it may look bad for him. Tony gets upset that she continually criticizes him, and Patsy thinks Tony minimizes things too much. They kiss. Korvac has Rhodey captured and being controlled with 3 discs by the Controller. They are in a Catholic church, Korvac says that humanity is constantly grasping for power it doesn't understand. Unicorn comes in saying thee Worldship is there. They have located TAA II. Rhodey asks if it is Galactus's ship, it is, but with 3 control discs he shouldn't be able to talk at all. Rhodey tells him to get rid of the goatee. Korvac quotes the Bible saying that when scales fell from Paul's eyes, he became Christ's greatest servant. Rhodey resists becoming a servant of Korvac. Korvac's graphene internal components has unlimited capacity and calls himself the light of the world, which is what Jesus called Himself. Stark and Patsy wake up together and Tony acknowledges the need for help. Patsy seems to still be hearing voices. She tells Tony what she hears. Korvac prepares to be connected to NY's grid to receive the power from the lighting rods. Flip the switch, he receives all the power. As they go looking for the nontraditional help, Patsy screams in pain from her head. Patsy hears TAA II and tells Tony. Korvac awakes. Tony finds Halcyon and asks him to find the people on the list to help. Patsy lights up and Korvac speaks through her. Halcyon breaks open a fire hydrant to break Patsy loose. Tells Halcyon to put himself on the list. 
Issue 5 - We open with Tony and Patsy talking. She cannot hear Korvac at this time. Tony leaves her to talk to his new team. It is composed of Gargoyle, the former Defender, the Scarlet Spider (clone of Spider-Man), Misty Knight with her bionic right arm, from Knightwing Restorations Ltd., and Frog Man, a guy with a Frog suit, and Halcyon. Tony briefs them on Korvac, a former cosmic entity, now an android who has super charged himself with 48 Petawatts of energy, the earth absorbs 120 Petawatts from the sun. The plan is to stop Korvac from storming Galactus's ship. Korvac gets ready to take off with his team. Rhodey comments on the shaven Korvac who kicks him in the face. Korvac starts talking through Patsy again. She recalls having electroshock therapy in her past to quiet the voices. Korvac tells her that he can help. She finds an electrical box and shocks herself to stop the voices. Iron Man thinks of his own thoughts and others who thought they were god, but were wrong, could anyone be right? Halcyon speaks sign-language and Frog Man understands and Patsy led Iron Man to the warehouse. She is out of her mind remembering her marriage to Daimon, the son of Satan. She remembers the burning. Iron Man holds Hellcat. Someone has a bomb, Iron Man has to go. Patsy doesn't want to be left alone, fire and teeth. Korvac is in a laundry, no bomb. The team finds a Shiar ship but no one is there. Then, a reference to the Odyssey and an explosion. Korvac taunts Iron Man who blasts him. All energy spent and Korvac shakes it off. Tony is trapped in the armor and falls and breaks his neck and is suffocating. 
Issue 6 -  We open with Hellcat and Iron Man incapacitated. Tony with a broken neck whose armor is keeping in alignment, keeping him from being paralyzed. Hellcat tries to help Tony and they get into a cab. In the warehouse that exploded, Tony's allies are protected by a bioforce field created by Gargoyle but he is badly injured as it took a lot out of him. In another warehouse, the Korvac forces get aboard the real ship. Guardsman joins them. The Rhodey begins to get free and Guardsman goes after him. Back with Tony, he comes in and out of consciousness. Misty Knight injects him with steroids and hydromorphone, which as an alcoholic with addiction, this could make him addicted to the opioid. But, he knows the swelling could paralyze him. He still has parts of his armor on and Halcyon is working on it. He cannot take off the armor only adjust it to set his neck fracture. Tony checks on Hellcat who is having hallucinations of Korvac speaking to her mind showing her his perfect universe. Tony assures her the he could do better. Rhodey suits up and tells Tony to stand down, they can go after Korvac, Tony insists he needs to do this. Guardsman flies through the skylight to kill Tony, but finds the others alive. Iron Man punches him into unconsciousness. IM heads out to find the most sophisticated ship to catch the Villains. War Machine goes along in hopes of protecting Tony. 
Issue 7 - We open with Iron Man's team on a starship that is faster than light trying to catch up with Korvac and his team. Halcyon is flying. War Machine goes and helps Tony increase the strength of his armor hoping to puncture through Korvac's graphene material. He then works on War Machine's armor. Then Misty says she has send out a message asking for help. Frog-Man suggests a name, then another says they should be the "godfighters". Then, have a discussion of God, with mentions of science and balance and transcendence. Hellcat warns Tony that Korvac's connection to her makes her a liability. Tony says to turn it against him. She kisses his helmet. Korvac's ship reaches the remote quadrant Zulu, as Galactus's ship will be passing the Goss sector. Blizzard analyzes IM's ship and says it is more powerful when Korvac takes offense holding his eyes and head, when suddenly Korvac is in the paradise with Hellcat and Tony walks in. Tony asks to see it, Korvac wants to show Tony. He shows them a world perfect in beautify with no hate, war, or crime. But also total control and no freedom, they reject it. Tony is sent away and Hellcat made into crystals. She lies unconscious on the floor. Korvac orders his ship to turn and fire upon them. Misty exclaims that Tony is gone and War Machine orders evasion. Tony is on an alien planet with Avro-X calling him a tresspasser. 
Issue 8 - We open with Korvac's ship firing on War Machine's ship, Rhodey calling out to Scarlet Spider and Misty Knight to fire the energy weapons and have Halcyon load the missiles while he flies to avoid the barrage. War Machine fires but misses and loses flight controls. Hellcat is being psionically visited by Moondragon to strengthen her. Moondragon and the Guardians of the Galaxy recognize the reawaking of Korvac but are too far away. She tries to strengthen Hellcat's mind and use it as a weapon. Hellcat is too overwhelmed. So, Heather Douglas brings Patsy to their old high school. She is talking a history test trying to learn the answers from the teacher, but instead smashes an apple. She is sent to the Principal and it is her ex Daimon Hellstrom who lashes out at her.  She is on a bed with a razor in temptation, then in a straightjacket. Then, Moondragon helps encourage her. She wakes up and heads to the cockpit to help. She clouds Korvac's mind right before them destroying the ship. They then blast out of there. Hellcat asks about Tony, who is gone. 
Issue 9 - We open in the year 2997 with three humans in a prison by the Badoon. Michael Korvac visits them. They have hope until he blasts them. He goes to the Badoon superiors and they make fun of him for betraying his people. He leaves his computers in despair and is caught by the Badoon who sever him in half and fix him to his computer modules permanently. Korvac yells Noooo! Then, we snap back to the present. They have landed on the moon Rivalis. They go to the jungle terrain. They find a pit and Korvac opens it with a blast of energy. It is Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch, the android body. Korvac calls him Adam I, and says he is his brother, his descendent of the technology. He ridicules Tony Starks reworking of Jim, says that he was used by Stark. Jim tends to agree. Korvac tells of his origin and rebuilds Hammond. Hammond goes along with it to be complete again. Korvac says he will mix his own mind in there as well. Then, they flash back to Korvac and his girlfriend who are confronted by the Avengers and Iron Man in the past. Korvac attacking Iron Man, when Jim Hammond berates him for his selfishness. Korvac is upset that he doesn't have the brother in Hammond, but now a slave. 
Issue 10 - We open with Iron Man stranded on a remote alien colony, Tony Stark searches for a way back to his friends while recovering from his devastating injuries. Welcomed by an apparently peaceful settlement, he discovers that its idyllic existence is more complicated than it first appears, especially under the leadership of a familiar old adversary who claims to have changed. As Tony investigates the colony and questions how he arrived there, he begins reflecting on the kind of man he wants to become if he survives the conflict with Korvac. Meanwhile, his allies continue their desperate pursuit of Korvac without knowing whether Iron Man is still alive.
Issue 11 - We open Tony digging deeper into the mysteries of the alien colony, uncovering signs that its peaceful façade hides unsettling truths. As he confronts threats both external and internal, Hellcat reaches out to him through an astral projection, warning that Korvac remains the true danger. Already weakened by his injuries, Tony must also resist the temptation of powerful pain medication, recognizing that his history with addiction could become as dangerous as any enemy. His investigation ultimately brings him closer to understanding the forces manipulating the colony—and himself. Avro X is Wilbur Day, the original Stilt Man. 
Issue 12 - We open with Tony finally coming aboard Galactus' worldship, Taa II, where he must fight his way through its lethal defenses before confronting Korvac once again. Reunited with the larger conflict, Iron Man faces Korvac's followers, each seeking revenge for past defeats, while racing to prevent Korvac from seizing ultimate power. The personal struggle that began with Tony's isolation now merges back into the cosmic battle, setting the stage for the story's climax
Issue 13 - We open with Iron Man and his allies launching their final assault against Korvac aboard Taa II, where the battle becomes both physical and philosophical. As Korvac's immense power threatens to overwhelm the heroes, Tony refuses to abandon his belief that humanity's flaws and freedom are worth preserving. Every member of the team contributes to the desperate fight as Korvac's dream of a perfectly ordered universe comes within reach. The conflict pushes Tony beyond the limits of his armor, his body, and his convictions, leading directly into the decisive finale
Issue 14 - We open with the battle with Korvac. It reaches its conclusion as Tony Stark undergoes a profound transformation after coming into contact with cosmic power. Elevated beyond his normal human limitations, Iron Man experiences reality from an entirely new perspective while confronting the same temptation that consumed Korvac: the belief that limitless power grants the right to reshape existence. Tony's ultimate choice determines not only Korvac's fate but also his own, bringing the Books of Korvac saga to a close while forever changing his understanding of power, responsibility, and himself.
Issue 15 - We open with Tony having absorbed the Power Cosmic. Tony Stark becomes the Iron god, but Korvac ascends once again to challenge him. Their battle erupts across galaxies and dimensions, threatening reality itself as two beings of unimaginable power clash. Meanwhile, Tony's friends struggle to reach the man beneath the godlike abilities before his humanity is lost forever.
Issue 16 - We open with the aftermath of Tony's cosmic transformation leaving him questioning whether absolute power can ever be wielded responsibly. As he reckons with the consequences of becoming everything he once feared, his allies try to bring him back to Earth—both literally and emotionally—while new threats emerge from the vacuum Korvac left behind.
Issue 17 - We open with Tony returning to a more grounded life. This proves difficult for Tony. Still burdened by physical injuries and emotional scars, he confronts the damage caused by his choices during the Korvac conflict while attempting to redefine what it means to be Iron Man after briefly becoming a god.
Issue 18 - We open with Tony facing the lingering consequences of his addiction, trauma, and public reputation as new adversaries test his resolve. Rather than relying on overwhelming power, he begins rebuilding his life through accountability and the support of those closest to him.
Issue 19 - We open with Tony continuing to fight for his recovery, he realizes that true heroism requires accepting vulnerability as much as strength. His relationship with Hellcat deepens while he struggles to leave the events of the Korvac saga behind.
Issue 20 - We open with Tony fresh out of rehabilitation and determined to prove he has regained control of his life, Tony resumes his role as Iron Man. When a public demonstration spirals into chaos, he must confront both a dangerous new threat and his own lingering anxieties, while his relationship with Hellcat reaches a turning point.
Issue 21 - We open with Tony and Patsy beginning to build a future together, but their newfound happiness is challenged by new dangers and the lingering emotional fallout from Tony's recent struggles. Iron Man's greatest battles increasingly become personal rather than cosmic.
