Iron Man V8 Issue 1 - We open with a person seemingly reliving Tony Stark's kidnapped days in Asia where he built his first full Iron Man armor. A.I.M. soldiers fire at him and wound him. Madame Masque removes the mask and see that it is a man, not Tony Stark who built the flawed armor. He asks to try again, and she says no armor is needed but another Tony Stark as she finishes him off. We break to see Iron Man in his Mysterium armor fighting Blizzard who stole a Roxxon battery to power his armor. IM takes him down. Tony is late to a ceremony where the Tony Stark award will be given to the best and brightest student. Stark shows up in a hoverbike. He awards the honor to Adam Ware. We see Citizen V in the shadows. Madame Masque kidnaps Pepper Potts and the hoverbike turns into Iron Man armor. Melinda May calls and says that the kidnapping of Pepper was a red herring to get Adam Ware. Tony goes to work and Pepper and Melinda show up at the Gamma bunker where the Hulk was born. He suits up in his latest armor. IM makes a call to Cap to meet him, but ends with Cap and a team of Avengers going to go after Iron Man. V7 Issue 10 (ended the series) - We open with Iron Man in his improvised armor standing with Crimson Dynamo (Bucky), Black Widow, and Melinda May talking to Vishte is his Dr. Doom bone armor that last issue absorbed the black magic. Tony asking Vishte if he killed all those people in Latveria to save him. Vishte says this is horrible but this is what victory looks like. The whole point he says is to keep Tony from making and selling arms that would have killed many more. Melinda throws a dagger at Vishte calling him a rationalizing murderer. It is melted. A dialogue ensues with accusations against Vishte and him calling the group hypocrites. Bucky says that he saw kids burned. Vishte talks about a small sacrifce and how he will kill Dr. Doom and rule in his stead, the least amount of bloodshed. Iron Man threatens to stop Vishte. Vishte says he doesn't want to fight but strikes at Iron Man and melts the Crimson Dynamo armor. Tony wants to save Vishte feels he set a tone that implied any means necessary against Doom. Belasco the demon appears and takes them to limbo because Vishte has brokered a deal to get the power to defeat Doom claiming Tony Stark is onboard. Iron Man takes offense to being used. Iron Man attacks Vishte while he explains how his goal was to get enough power from the demon Consortium to kill Doom, rule Latveria, become Sorcerer Supreme so he could stop the demon Consortium. One failure and all die in the whole world exclaims Iron Man. He claims this is the best redistribution of power. Iron Man hasn't been upgrading his armor just his sword. It stops Vishte. He has failed at every turn. The demon Consortium binds Vishte and will use him as a bargaining chip against Stark. Vishte vows revenge against Stark and Doom. Back home, Tony plans with Melinda May to find the code deep within the Black magic and all the armors. When Doom activates all the Stark contracts, the armors will be freed and the black magic will infiltrate Doom's servers. Dr. Doom rejects Tony's offers and each have veiled threats against the other. Ramon comes as a board member and of the union and offers to make carbon neutral resources, but it be affordable, it has to be done at a large scale, which he says that's what Tony's company is all about. Ramon asks for May to stay on to train the union; she agrees. Tony talks to the Black Widow who offers her support. Tony lost the improvised armor but has the other armors coming back online. The End.
